Week 16: Eating Crow and Told Ya So

1450587After every week, I rehash how my picks performed. Some for the better and inevitably, some for the worse. There’s nothing wrong with a little accountability.


Toby Gerhart
Despite suffering a rib injury in the second half of Jacksonville’s primetime win over Tennessee, Gerhart rumbled his way to 53 yards and a touchdown. Taking advantage of a killer matchup, the former Viking existed as the Jaguars lead back and well out-touched both Storm Johnson and Jordan Todman. The 27 year-old Stanford product should be good to go in the Jags’ Week 17 outing at Houston. With Denard Robinson lost of the season, Gerhart will continue to see the bulk of the carries, but doesn’t have much fantasy relevance against a Texans team that hasn’t allow an RB to score since Jeremy Hill in Week 11.
