Week 8: Running Back Round Up

1414164I have no issues with being held in check. You win some and you lose some. You’re not always going to be right and that’s okay. Here, I recap my weekly picks and how they played out. Buffalo Bills QB Kyle Orton had a huge Week 8 performance, just as predicted. Every week, I examine the most turbulent backfields to determine whether a backup is due for a bigger role and how any possible changes will affect Fantasy relevant stars. Jaguars RB Denard Robinson appears to be the lead back to dethrone in Jacksonville.

Toby Gerhart – Storm Johnson – Denard Robinson

Gus Bradley is determined to find his Jags a starting running back. With his initial choice of Toby Gerhart resting a high ankle sprain and second option Storm Johnson being more of a drizzle than a hurricane, Jacksonville’s head coach turned to Denard “Shoelace” Robinson. Considered an “offensive weapon,” Robinson played quarterback at the University of Michigan, before repackaging his skills and being selected by the Jaguars in the 5th round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
