Week 13: Hand-Picked Wide Recievers
Perhaps the second most important week of the fantasy season, Week 13 is often fraught with an intense amount of panic, dread, and (hopefully) jubilation. A do or die week for many fantasy enthusiasts, owners needing a win are searching for sneaky starts and big upside plays to help ensure their team(s) a playoff berth. In addition, prudent play-off bound participants are keeping an eye out for players peaking late in the season with the aim of adding insurance and depth to their benches. Fully understanding the magnitude of this Sunday’s match-ups, I’ve uncovered two potential PPR finds for managers in both camps.
I’ve liked Bailey since he was selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft. Dwarfed by the hype and grandeur of fellow Mountaineer Tavon Austin, Bailey hasn’t received nearly the same amount of attention or number of opportunities as his teammate. The main knock against the Rams’ slot receiver is his petite frame. While he may be small, he has incredible hands and an impressive after the catch ability.
