Football Season is over. Now what?!?!

I was recently asked what The Fantasy Football Girl does during the off-season. My answer was, “What off-season?”

While I admittedly go through an end of the season slump, I never stop working. Whether it’s participating in mock drafts or delving into March Madness, my love of sports is constantly churning. That means there’s always loads of diverse and awesome content being added to the site. In fact, as a nod to Sochi, I’ll be posting an interview with a former Olympian next week!

Plus, the X’s and Y’s Podcast will be back in March to discuss free agency and how this year’s player swap will affect next year’s fantasy landscape. While Jimmy Graham is the hottest free agent on the market, John and I promise to dig deep on some of the lesser known names like Donald Brown and Jabari Greer. For all of you overachievers, here’s a list of the NFL’s top 25 free agents.

Furthermore, I plan to keep you all abreast of what’s trending. For instance, did you know that there was a Kickstarter campaign for Cleveland sports fans? Well there is. And it’s as depressing as you might imagine. Scott O’Brien, a long suffering Browns fan, is attempting to launch a coloring book depicting disappointing moments in Cleveland Sports history. According to O’Brien’s Kickstarter profile, “The coloring book will be roughly 55 pages long, with 25 black & white illustrations depicting scenes of notable Cleveland sports failures, such as: The Shot, The Fumble, The Drive and The Decision.” If you’d like to become a backer or simply want to join in the tongue-in-cheek pity party, check out the project here.

Finally, as we say goodbye to 2013 and look toward next season, I’ll leave you with a chart of win/loss records of every team since the league expanded to 32 teams. The first two teams are pretty easy to guess. The third most winning team, however, totally surprised me. Oh well, at least Bears made the top half! What about your team?

Enjoy the “off-season” and keeping WINNING BIG!
